Yesterday I got in a couple more hours on this full backpiece of a lady wearing a headdress behind a wolf. The woman had healed up well from the last session and I spent the entire time getting the wolf into place. I always put the stencil on with the body in a neutral position because when the person is seated the design will stretch and distort.
A couple days ago my client felt comfortable enough with me going blindly into a part of his tattoo with no design. I stenciled the lettering but then started shading in a skull. He couldn’t stay too long but was happy with what I started and also glad I didn’t work up in his inner arm. We’ll get back to that area eventually.
