Class 3
Print out or download one of these stencils (or any stencil from the previous classes) and create a shadow design on the subject. Just use one value like a very dark gray. Imagine where the light is coming from and then try to figure out where the shadows will be on your subject and draw in the shadow regions using a pencil or digital brush.Download REFERENCE Image

Class 4
Download HUE PRESENTATION pdf

Print out or download one of these stencils (or any stencil from the previous classes (or your own design)) and color it. Use colored pencils or digital brushes.
For each hue that you use, choose a dark, medium, and light value. For example, if you are going to color a rose with a red hue, use a dark red, a medium red, and a light red.
HUE SHIFT: Somewhere in the drawing, use a value hue shift.
COLOR TEMPERATURE: If you can, try to shift your lights in a cooler direction and your darks in a warmer direction.
For example, if you are using a red hue for the rose, shift the light red towards purple so that the light areas are cooler. And shift the dark area towards orange so that the dark areas are warmer.
