Day Off, Draw!

I try to give myself at least one day off from tattoos each week, and I usually spend that day off drawing designs because I am always behind.  Today I worked on a few in the morning, then in the afternoon I worked on another that involved a few photo shoots.

The client stopped by with his waders, shotgun, and hunting dog.  I took a bunch of photos with my phone.  Then I set up my handy skeleton art mannequin in a similar pose to the client (using my phone pics as reference) and I took some photos with my nice Canon camera.  I put Netflix’s new “Lost in Space” show on while I drew up the design.  My wrist is a bit sore now.  I like how it’s turning out.
