I finished Captain Spaulding from the movie “House of 1000 Corpses” and am really happy with how it turned out. I think I put in 7 hours across two sessions. With this and the Beetlejuice tattoo I can now say I have officially entered the realm of color portraiture tattoo.
Beetlejuice is turning out well. I got in about 3.5 hours before it was becoming very sore for my client. This is the same guy who got Squints and Jim Carey.
I have a security camera in my shop that sits on my desk. I noticed the other night that the little guy with the name Cody on his butt that a client gave me was quite visible at night.
And speaking of the client who gave me that little guy, here’s the newest addition to her underwater theme tattoo. I added a jellyfish.
She also had me do a dragonfly in memory of her sister who died a few years ago.
In some of my spare time I started working on a digital painting just for practice. I like how it is turning out.
I’m getting close to finishing this military themed sleeve on an old friend.
